As chief enterprise risk officer, Jeff Oak is responsible for internal audit, corporate responsibility, compliance and enterprise risk management.
Beginning in 2005, Jeff served as senior vice president, corporate responsibility and development, for Bon Secours Health System. Under his leadership, the compliance program was recognized nationally for innovation. Previously, Oak led the compliance and business integrity program with the Veterans Health Administration, the largest integrated health system in the U.S., and was senior vice president with the Council of Ethical Organizations.
Oak did his undergraduate work at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa., and holds a PhD in ethics from Yale University.
He currently serves on several boards including: Blumont Inc., an international NGO which provides humanitarian relief and long-term economic stabilization in more than 20 countries (chair); Gettysburg College (secretary); Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital (trustee); Trinity Health (independent board committee member); Hoffman Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University (fellow and member of the executive committee) and Global Ethics and Integrity Benchmarks (expert review panel member).
He previously served on the board of the Health Care Compliance Association, the Advisory Group for the Ethics and Compliance Initiative Fellows Program, and as president of the Yale Divinity School Alumni Board.
