Wael Haidar, MD, is president of clinical operations at Bon Secours Mercy Health. He provides strategic clinical and operational leadership across the ministry’s core operations, which includes 10 markets across the United States.
Dr. Haidar’s focus helps to ensure effective and efficient clinical care and operations that result in high-quality, compassionate care for all patients.
He previously served as senior vice president of provider networks for Bon Secours Health System, a role he assumed in January 2017. Prior to joining Bon Secours, Dr. Haidar worked at Mercy Clinics in Des Moines, Iowa, for 10 years, where he served as a staff physician, medical director of the Adult Hospitalist Program, vice president of hospital-based physicians and ultimately as chief physician executive and president of Mercy Clinics.
