
Cyril Philip serves as vice president of digital ventures at Bon Secours Mercy Health and is a senior leader of Accrete Health Partners. In this role, he leads the ministry’s direct venture investment strategy and operator-led, co-development partnerships, overseeing the sourcing, diligence and execution of strategic investments that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Cyril brings nearly two decades of healthcare investment experience to the ministry, with over a decade focused specifically on direct investment on behalf of health systems. He plays a central role in Accrete’s operator-led model, architecting the investment and co-development frameworks that bridge venture-stage technologies with the Ministry’s clinical and operational leadership. His work ensures these partnerships deliver tangible strategic value and sustainable innovation across the organization.
Prior to joining Bon Secours Mercy Health in 2022, Cyril spent over seven years at Providence Ventures, the venture capital arm of Providence. During his tenure, he helped build and scale two venture funds totaling $300 million in capital deployed across more than 20 health care technology and medical device investments while supporting multiple successful exits. His career began in healthcare investment banking and private equity, including roles at UBS Investment Bank and Halyard Capital.
