Edmund Siy, Chief Information & Technology Officer of Bon Secours Mercy Health

Edmund Siy, FHIMSS, FCHIME, CHCIO, CDH-E, serves as chief information & technology officer at Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH). He is responsible for global information technology strategy, implementation and operations including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence deployment and clinical informatics throughout the system’s multi-state care delivery network and global business services operations in Ireland and the Philippines.

Edmund is a 2024, 2025 & 2026 Becker’s Hospital Review “System CIOs to Know” with more than 20 years of business accomplishments across multiple industries. Prior to BSMH, he served four years as SVP, chief digital & information officer at Hunterdon Health (NJ) and eight years as VP, business transformation at Mercy (MO). He started his journey at Time Warner now Warner Bros. Discovery spending 15 years in various global technology leadership roles focused on instantiating shared services programs across the music, filmed entertainment and television divisions

Edmund received a MA from Gonzaga University and is active in College of Healthcare Information Management Executive (CHIME), earning CHCIO (2019), Fellow (2021), CDH-E (2022), CIO Bootcamp (2015) and served on the Policy Steering Committee (2020-2024). He participates with Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) earning Fellow (2018) and served on the National Innovation Committee (2015-17) plus the Midwest Gateway Chapter Board (2014-2021) including its president (2016-17). He also serves on the Woven Home Care board, the CIO Advisory Boards at Inneo & Nordic Global and as an SI advisor at Scottsdale Institute.
