Bon Secours Mercy Health announced the release of its 2025 Ancillary Services Annual Report, highlighting meaningful progress in advancing pharmacy, laboratory and support services across the system’s markets.
The report details continued expansion of ancillary services, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, enhancing safety and strengthening operational performance across the ministry.
“Significant strides were made in expanding and diversifying our ancillary services to better meet the evolving needs of patients and communities,” said Wayne Bohenek, chief ancillary services officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health. “This progress reflects the commitment of our teams and our continued focus on quality, safety and innovation in support of our Mission.”
Harness Health Pharmacy continued to grow, serving patients in 43 states and dispensing 1.2 million prescriptions while maintaining strong patient satisfaction and generating more than $36 million in savings through pharmacy benefit programs.
Pharmacy services played a key role in 2025, with teams verifying 17.6 million medications and delivering more than 410,000 clinical interventions to support safe and effective care.
Ambulatory and home-based services also expanded, including the opening of a centralized home infusion hub and new care coordination capabilities that improved patient access and streamlined complex therapies.
Together, these efforts demonstrate how ancillary services are supporting Bon Secours Mercy Health’s broader mission to improve health and well-being, enhance the patient experience and strengthen the system’s ability to meet growing care needs.
