Don Kline, Bon Secours Mercy Health’s chief operating officer, has earned a prestigious spot on the “Hospital and Health System COOs to Know” list, curated by Becker’s Hospital Review.

With more than 30 years of extensive experience in hospital management, finance and operations leadership, Kline has been a key leader since joining Bon Secours Mercy Health in 2007, and his strong focus on efficient and effective operations has played a crucial role in propelling the organization forward.
In his current role, Kline spearheads operations across all Bon Secours Mercy Health domestic markets, prioritizing the delivery of high-quality care to patients. His dedication to enhancing health care delivery is evident through initiatives to improve the patient experience, lower patient costs and boost operational efficiency.
Before joining Bon Secours Mercy Health, Kline held CFO roles with Heritage Valley Health System and Trinity Health System. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Duquesne University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
