Bon Secours Mercy Health has been named as a recipient of the 2026 MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle, sponsored by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
The national award honors health care organizations demonstrating measurable performance, operational improvement and long-term commitment to financial practices that support patient care. Bon Secours Mercy Health partners with Ensemble Health Partners, a national revenue cycle management services firm, to deliver end-to-end revenue cycle operations across the health system.
“This award reflects our patient-centered, innovative approach to revenue cycle performance and our commitment to financial excellence that supports access to care,” said Billie Jean Mounts, chief revenue officer, Bon Secours Mercy Health. “We are proud to share this recognition with our revenue cycle partner, Ensemble Health Partners, whose work consistently improves the patient financial experience.”
The MAP (Measure, Apply, Perform) program is HFMA’s industry-standard framework for evaluating revenue cycle performance. It uses MAP Keys benchmarks and evidence-based improvement strategies to help health care organizations strengthen financial performance while improving patient satisfaction.
“The MAP Awards are about more than metrics — they reflect the sustained work organizations are doing to strengthen how healthcare is delivered and supported,” said Richard Gundling, chief mission impact Officer at HFMA. “When we see measurable progress in revenue cycle performance, it tells us these teams are building stronger financial foundations that ultimately protect patient access and care. That kind of consistency and commitment is what moves the industry forward.”
The 2026 MAP Award was formally presented at the HFMA Revenue Cycle Conference in March 2026 in Dallas, Texas.
