Bon Secours Mercy Health’s Chief Digital Officer Jason Szczuka recently sat down with David Wright, founder and CEO of Disruptive Innovations and host of the Disruptive Innovators podcast to share insights on how he’s helping BSMH navigate the digital transformation in health care.
Under Szczuka’s leadership, BSMH recently launched Accrete Health Partners
a digital holding company that expands, aligns and synergizes the organization’s digital health services, investments and partnerships. Accrete partners with some of the brightest and most talented teams in digital health to help make health care easier for consumers.
“I firmly believe that over the next five years, our industry is going to see more change and more transformation than we’ve seen in the last 50 years combined,” said Szczuka. “Whether it be AI, better automation more understanding of consumer decision making and behaviors, I just think you’ve got to be on your front foot.”
In addition, Szczuka shared key lessons learned throughout his career, as well as his insights into the different dynamics in non-profit and for-profit healthcare investing, and the future of managed services.
