Three Bon Secours Mercy Health senior leaders were invited to share their insights and expertise at the 14th annual Becker’s Healthcare Annual Meeting April 8 – 11 in Chicago, Ill. The meeting brings thousands of health care influencers together to share best practices and lessons learned to help improve care, enhance operational efficiency and address financial challenges.
Wayne Bohenek, chief ancillary services officer, shared insights on the technology needed to propel hospital pharmacies. He was joined on a panel with Nilesh Desai, RPh – Baptist Health System, Karen McConnell, PharmD – CommonSpirit Health and Katherine DeSanctis, MS – Mass General Bringham Healthcare at Home.
Chief People Officer, Core Operations Allan Calonge joined leaders from the Medical University of South Carolina, the Medical University of South Carolina Health and American Health Technology Group/Trio VMS to address how to rethink workforce design for the modern era.
Cyril Philip, vice president, Digital Ventures, provided expertise and best practice ideas in the areas of telehealth, mobile health and digital transformation. He shared the stage with Darby Davenport, UAB Health System; Bill Manzie, Memorial Healthcare System; Kiyana Turner, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Gloria Lau, Hello Alpha.
