Becker’s Hospital Review recently named Bon Secours Mercy Health Chief Marketing Officer Sandra Mackey one of 60 hospital and health system chief marketing officers to know.
The list honors Mackey for her commitment to optimizing health care, using data-driven approaches to drive access to care and providing patients with the tools and resources necessary to choose the right care at the right time in a manner that makes sense to them.
Mackey joined Bon Secours Mercy Health in 2017 and is responsible for the marketing, communications, consumer engagement, brand and creative strategy that supports care delivery across the system – which serves seven U.S. states and five locations in Ireland.
Previously, she was the senior vice president of marketing and communications for the Arthritis Foundation, where she was responsible for national strategic marketing initiatives. She also served as executive director of market strategy for Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, where she led a team to support service line and strategic growth initiatives, established a digital marketing platform and launched a comprehensive brand strategy.
Mackey was previously recognized as the “2018 Chief Marketing Officer of the Year” by the Cincinnati Business Courier.
