Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) Chief Digital Officer Jason Szczuka was recently named to the Becker’s Healthcare 2024 list of 46 chief digital officers to know.
Leaders on the list are tasked with overseeing technology integration, improving the patient journey and increasing care access through digital initiatives. In collaboration with IT and clinical teammates, chief digital officers work to implement digital tools that meet patients where they are, with information they need. This allows for more streamlined workflows and an improved patient experience.
As chief digital officer, Szczuka leads the ministry’s focus on strategic technological opportunities and oversees the areas of analytics, I&T, innovation and digital strategy. He drives a patient-first strategy that advances the promise of digital health by extending quality care into a more convenient, connected and consistent experience. In addition to his role with BSMH, Szczuka serves as lead of Accrete Health Partners, a strategic holding company that aligns, expands and synergizes digital health services, investments and partnerships.
