Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) Chief Supply Chain Officer Dan Hurry was recently named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of 50 Hospital and Health System Supply Chain Leaders to Know 2024.
The list recognizes leaders who have driven cost savings, forged strategic partnerships and effectively managed inventory. Hurry was a pivotal influence in helping to ensure BSMH was fully equipped to care for patients throughout the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Hurry serves as president of Advantus Health Partners, a health care solutions company that makes supply chain easier for its clients through streamlined supply chain management, organizational purchasing, operations and cost-savings efficiencies. Established in 2021, Advantus provides a portfolio of solutions to further drive value beyond contracting, all with the singular goal of reducing health care costs across the U.S.
Before joining BSMH, Dan was senior director and associate vice president of supply chain operations at Tenet Healthcare and Baptist Health – San Antonio, where he led a multi-year transformation efforts. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an MBA from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
