Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) and its strategic revenue cycle management partner, Ensemble Health Partners (Ensemble), are proud to announce that BSMH received the Top Revenue Cycle Performance Award from public accounting, consulting and technology firm, Crowe. This award is a result of BSMH and Ensemble’s ongoing strategic revenue cycle partnership. The award was presented during Crowe’s 2022 Revenue Cycle Virtual Symposium on May 10.
“BSMH puts the patient at the center of everything it does, including in the way we operate our revenue cycle function,” said BSMH Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, Billie Jean Mounts. “High-performing and effective revenue cycle management decreases the time and resources we use on administrative and clinical functions, allowing for a greater amount of time and resources that can be devoted to patient care.”
The Revenue Cycle Performance Awards celebrate improvement in health care revenue cycle operations. BSMH won the award based on a set of organizational performance top revenue cycle key performance indicators (KPIs).
“We recognize that true partnership means putting people first- our clients, our associates and their patients. Our commitment to performance excellence is at the center of everything we do, and our combination of key technologies, best practices and exceptional operators drive financial performance improvement and world-class patient experiences,” said Ensemble Founder, President and CEO Judson Ivy. “We are proud to partner with BSMH to redefine the possible in healthcare.”
Ensemble partners with more than 326 hospitals across the U.S. to improve financial outcomes and patient experiences by bringing effectiveness, efficiency and clarity to the revenue cycle. Ensemble deploys patented technology combined with more than 1,200 documented best practices across the entire revenue cycle, from patient engagement to account resolution, to drive an average net revenue lift of 5 percent for full outsourcing clients.
