Travis Crum is the chief financial officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH), a provider of health care solutions and services, and one of the largest health systems in the U.S. and Ireland. He is accountable for the ministry’s financial operations, including treasury and investment, real estate and development, and managed care.
Crum is in his 14th year with the ministry and has served in a variety of roles including as the assistant controller and corporate controller for Mercy Health and then as senior vice president, Finance for BSMH.
Outside of BSMH, Crum is an active member of the Healthcare Finance Management Association (HFMA), a national trade group for finance professionals within health care. He currently serves on the Policy & Procedures Board of HFMA, working with the group to set national best practices and financial reporting standards for health care entities across the U.S.
Prior to joining BSMH, Crum spent time as a controller at a long-term care center and as part of KPMG’s audit practice, specializing in health care.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA), with a master’s in business administration from Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio Northern University.
