Jeff Bross serves as chief managed care officer for Bon Secours Mercy Health. In this role, he is responsible for the ministry’s managed care strategy across its entire portfolio of hospitals, employed physician practices, and ancillary providers. Jeff leads the development and execution of payer relationships and contracting initiatives that support the ministry’s goals of improving access to care, enhancing financial sustainability and delivering value to the communities BSMH serves.
Jeff brings more than 20 years of managed care and health system leadership experience. Prior to joining BSMH, he served as senior vice president of Managed Care at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida, where he was responsible for nearly $2.5 billion in hospital revenue under contract. Before that, he held senior roles with Tenet Healthcare Corporation, including assistant vice president of Managed Care for Regional Operations. There, he oversaw all regional payer agreements nationwide, including contracts with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, generating more than $6 billion in revenue.
