Janet Reid has served as a member of the Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH)
Board of Directors since its formation in September 2018. Prior to her service on the BSMH Board, Dr. Reid served as a member of the Mercy Health – Cincinnati Board of Directors.
She is an innovative thought leader in talent development and the founder and CEO of BRBS World, LLC. Before founding BRBS World, Dr. Reid was the founder, managing partner and director of the international management consulting firm Global Novations, LLC., where she and her team conducted consulting work in more than 40 countries. She is also a former marketing and innovation executive at Procter & Gamble.
Dr. Reid has personally consulted on all aspects of talent development with boards of directors, CEOs, presidents, and all levels of leaders and associates in hundreds of Fortune 500 multinational corporations, institutions of higher education, government agencies and national not-for-profit organizations.
Her great passion for higher education and health care have fueled a long history of community and business leadership including – but not limited to – her extensive involvement on key leadership boards at Ohio State University, Xavier University, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Procter and Gamble Company and the Cincinnati Branch Board of the Federal Reserve Bank. She is the co-author of The Phoenix Principles: Leveraging Inclusion to Transform your Company, The Phoenix Principles Work Book and Intrinsic Inclusion.
Among numerous honors and awards, Dr. Reid has been named a Great Living Cincinnatian, was inducted into the Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame and was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
